I absolutely love this set for my preschooler who is going into kindergarten. It’s so fun for her to practice letter recognition and letter sounds in such a unique way! I am a homeschool mom of 3, so it has also been helpful to know that she is learning with these books independently while I am teaching my oldest. We love Tappi!
Overall the Tappi is a great idea for a toy. My toddler really enjoys it.
There are a few things that need improvement.
1) the responsiveness when hitting the notes in the music book is not fast enough to make an actual song. I think it would be good if after a few notes are played, the full song starts playing.
2) there is not nearly enough music on the pen in music mode, I was under the impression I could upload my own .mp4 files for songs and play them.
3) the music on the pen only includes the music that is in the songs book, which is a little disappointing. My daughter was not as interested in that book because she had already heard all the songs in music mode so nothing was new.
There should be more options in the books for learning, such as spelling things, word pronunciation, etc. This would make it a great overall learning tool instead of just a toy.
Horse makes the wrong sound and I reached out but nothing is done about it.

My 19 month old toddler is obsessed with the Tappi! The colors are so vibrant and engaging, and it really keeps him interested. The books and pen are definitely worth the price, the materials feel sturdy and high quality, not flimsy or cheap at all. We’ve been very impressed and will definitely be buying more books in the future. Only wish books were available on Amazon for easier purchasing!
My 3 year old granddaughter loves Tappi books. She just had her birthday and got 5 books.
We absolutely love this set! They have been a great addition to our (Homeschool) routine to supplement pre-reading and math skills for both my-year-old and my three-year-old! We also have the starter kit which we also love! Our children use them daily all throughout the day because they genuinely love the playful games and songs. I cannot recommend these enough!!
Amazing product! Not only is the pen big enough for little hands but also comfortable for my older aged kid. I hope so inspire my kids to love and enjoy reading and interactive books is a big part of that. This product is not only creative but intuitive for even your littlest.

I am blown away by Tappi! The technology is incredible, but all of that doesn’t mean much if your kids don’t actually enjoy using it and mine LOVE these books. They keep them fully engaged and have already learned so much in a short amount of time. Such an incredible addition to our favorite activities!
As a book loving family we absolutely love Tappi. It allows my toddler to “read” books on her own without An adult reading for them. It’s also perfect activity to limit tv time for sick kids that don’t have a lot of energy.
My main complaint is that in this book and the Animals book, Tappi plays the sound first and then the name. It is misleading because the book says “hear vehicle name and sound” and “hear animal name and sound” to me that implies the name will be said first.
we love TappiPlay! My daughter is just over two years old, and we take the books everywhere! She can practice her colors, words, and listening to directions all with these books! We can’t wait to add to our collection of books as she gets older!
The Tappi Starter Set seems to be of good quality. I’m giving it to my granddaughter’s 3rd birthday in a couple weeks.
Straight out of the box this is an incredibly thoughtful product. Every aspect was designed with children in mind. The pen is very easy for my three year-old to hold and the buttons are minimal enough to remember each one does. I loved how there were words and images that the pen would pick up on outside of the “main” pages of the book. The music mode was also a big hit. My toddler uses the pen as a pretend microphone. I know that as my toddler gets older this product will aid in learning to read and sounding out words. We will absolutely be purchasing more books to use with the TAPPI pen! Highly recommend if you are a screen free family!
We absolutely love this starter kit! Our family loves reading books & screen free activities, so these have fit into our daily rhythm so well! Both my five year old & my three year old have been enjoying interacting with each page, learning through games, & singing the songs. Love that these made learning fun & hands on!
My 1 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it! Can work pen independently. Wish the colors were a little brighter in the books.

These books are so incredible, my toddler loves pressing the pen onto all of the illustrations and loves the finding games on every page!! 😍
I cannot emphasize enough how amazing these books are. They are interactive and keep my boys engaged for so long. They love exploring every page, tapping to hear the sounds, and discovering new things each time. It's been such a great way to reduce screen time and encourage quiet, independent play. We absolutely love them!
My son loves vehicles so he enjoys this book a lot. He usually loves repeating the sounds of vehicles so this was perfect! It has different scenarios like the neighborhood, town, city, construction, farm, sky, sea, and highway. It also has a Spanish & Mandarin option.
My son loves listening to the different dialogues of the people with this book. He finds some of the characters so funny. I love that it shows different scenarios that are relevant to kids like the bus stop, school, grocery store, play ground, etc. This one has the game, "Can you find...?" which is like iSpy which my son also loves playing.
My son loves this starter set! He couldn't put them down! He was so excited to wake up and use it and also to use it as his bedtime books. He even asked if his bath time can be shorter (which he usually asks for it to be longer) so he can have more time with his Tappi books before bed! I definitely recommend the Tappi Started Set and the rest of the books! These would make a great gift for kids!
